Alzhemiers Awareness

This post is dedicated my Mother. I lost her three years ago to this horrid memory robbing disease. So this year I decide to honor her and do my door decor and bring awareness to this cause. My Mother was crafty also, she sewed professionally, her speciality was bridal gowns. She crocheted, decoupaged, and loved to cook. And loved to decorate for Christmas.  I guess that's where I get my craftiness from.
Here's my tribute:

I urge to get out and walk in a relay, donate to this cause. If you are experiencing this with a loved out, get a support system, believe me it helps. My prayers are that we find a way to stop this disease.

Until Next Time :

  1. I'm so sorry for the loss of your mother, Cat. Mine passed away in 2005 and her mother, who had Alzheimers, passed away in 1985. I miss them both so much. Your decorations are gorgeous - as always!!! A wonderful reminder to contribute to this worthwhile cause. Suzy
