Heart's Delight Tablescape

Valentine,s Day is almost here!
 Are you ready?
Did you get your sweetie something heart felt?

Every year I try to come up with something special for my hubby, but sometimes it is so hard when he doesn't want anything. So I went with simple things I know he enjoys. A few favorite old movies, a box of his favorite candy, a couple of Music Cd's, an I -tunes music card and a game card to Dave & Buster 's. Plus I plan on having a  romantic dinner for us. I got these heart shape pasta noodles, that are adorable  to make some vodka spaghetti sauce, french bread ( yes cut into hearts) to go along , and a salad with heart shape cucumbers .

Cute - NO?

Desert will be  brownie parfaits  with chocolate and  pink vanilla pudding with layers of  crumbled up brownie, topped with whipped creme and heart sprinkles.

My table is all set and ready to go with a white table cloth, black place mats, silver flatware red napkins and stemware. Red square plates, with a black and white pattern salad plates, and a red heart shape bowl on top. I scattered  glass hearts all over the table.

The centerpiece  is red and black roses with white hydrangeas and silver drop crystals and silver accents.

Thats my plans for V-Day here at my house. Hope yours is filled with love as well.

Until next time ,

Enjoy!

Valentine Mantle and Entry

Hello Everyone,  I am back!!!
After going through a rough patch , I am back into decorating . The mantle was designed to be an easy set up and take down. Deciding going easy and simple was the new look for me. The mirror I hung up has been used many times before. I left the tissue puff balls from New Years and added felt heart garland to hang in between puffs. Adding a subway art " love" canvas, a red glittered heart, with the letters 1&4 on the right side. The left side I put a very large red rose and a red vase, below is more red felt heart garland to finish .

The entry decor was a challenge on a craft site to make a design using supplies under $15. I took white garland I already had thread ribbon ($ 2) through out . I got the spinning hearts at WalMart for $2.97 and took them apart and added them to the garland. On the table ( my tin foil beauty) below is my Valentine cat and frog couple that I have had for years, and two black candle holders with red candles.

Closer of the couple:

Well that completes this post, but I will be back with the table scape for two.
Until then :

Enjoy
