November has been a hectic month for me so I haven't had time to post. I had time to only set up a few things. This year is I decided to put a little twist on the traditional colors everyone usually thinks of for Thanksgiving. I added a soft turquoise to the mix of brown, beige, orange and gold.
The mantle starts with the iron and wooden piece, on the left in front of wheat are a Indian couple. On the right is the Thanksgiving Turkey, in the front are the pumpkins. Shades of gold , orange, beige and turquoise,
are in the flowers , along with burlap bows.
I set up two table scapes this year, the first is the formal one, where Hubbs & I will share our bounty. It starts with a brown table cloth, soft turquoise place mats, gold chargers. The plates are a soft turquoise and Royal Stafford's Turkey , cream pumpkin soup tureens, gold flatware, crystal goblets. Dinner napkins are brown and orange sheer toppers, with a beaded napkin ring. The centerpiece is a cornucopia filled with flowers, fall leaves& feathers, flanked by two gold candle holders . Pumpkins and an Indian couple nestle in the arrangement.

The other table is my kitchen, for it I started with a chocolate brown table cloth, and used cream plates, gold flat ware, short water goblets and beige napkins . The centerpiece is a floral arrangement with pumpkins , a turkey and a Pilgrim hat.

The entry is fall subway art , flanked by two fall pictures. A picture of a pilgrim couple, candle holders, and orange glitter fern in the same matching color.
I want to take this time to wish you all a very blessed Thanksgiving!
Until Next Time !
Oh Cat, I wish I could fly you to Minneapolis. I always love the table and mantle scapes you put together - so inspiring. I'm moving to a new home at the end of the month and haven't a clue where to start decorating!! I'll have to refer back to your posts for that ongoing inspiration and amazing color choices. I'd NEVER have thought to put a turquoise in the mix, but it pops !!! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your sweetie. ~Suzy
