Decor for Spring

Hello Spring! It certainly is spring here in Florida! Temperatures are in the 80's already! The flowers that I planted are blooming , my grass is nice and green and of course it's pollen season ( aha Allegra time). So getting with the season means a few minor changes in decor. Rolled up the dark rugs and brought out the pretty colored ones and throw pillows. Add some pretty colors to it all, and I have a spring-ified house! This years colors are lime green and yellow and white. On the mantle I decided to use the fence from Easter, and added some pretty rosettes . Spring letters and colors to mount on the fence. A pretty flower arrangement, two little green birds and some grass and butterflies , and a garden head , says spring to me.

Brought all that color down to the coffee table with another flower arrangement, a lovely green bowl , and some small jars filled with lime green stones. Throw pillows on the couch for some color there, also.

Next I started in my sun room where the formal table is. I put a large flower aarrangement in the center , flanked by a cute little bird cage , with two little occupants, nesting, and a gazing ball, and butterflies, all sitting upon a white tablecloth. I took down the curtains and replaced them with lime green ones. A bold choice for me but I wanted a big change. It has brought a punch a color I really like in there.

Next I took my spring-ifing to the entry table by the front door. Another flower arrangement, some assorted vases and books and a sign on a table runner.

Of course the table for two in my kitchen can't be left out of the fun. A yellow tablecloth is the base , added lime green round place mats. Some pretty glittered yellow chargers, Ralph Lauren white dinner plate, a salad plate in yellow with delicate scroll work on it's design. Green flatware and stemware, and a lace napkin inside a yellow one with silver napkins rings to complete the garden design. A flower arrangement put into pitcher is the focal point for the table. And Hubbs & I have a sweet garden feel for dinners.

And of course I added these two last little arrangements in my little TV room to complete the seasonal feel to the house. This one sits on my leopard looking table.
And this one sits by our TV , and added glittered lime green frames to the TV shelf  to add color there as well.

I really hope you enjoyed my redo for spring. I will be back in a few day to show you my Mother's day Decor, as I will again change the look of the house for that. I know it is always changing, it never stays the same for long, as I keep hearing from everyone.....What can I say ??? It's just what I do! It's never dull!

Until Next Time:
Enjoy!
