Celebrating Hubbs Birthday

I have been slacking on my blog, seems like other things have taken over my life, and I haven't had a chance to catch up. Hubbs had knee replacement , and is finally back at work! Yippeee!!! Recently we celebrated his birthday, and of course I decorated! Although he informed me he was too old for decorations ! Bah humbug! Never too old for some decorations or too old for Birthday Fun! And of course I wanted him to feel special on his day!
So I started at our table for two, layering two tablecloths, one white and the other printed. I then put some orange placemats, black plates and green salad plates and a printed cake plate. I took the silverware and tied it with curly ribbons to add some fun to the table. Two blue glasses with napkins inserted inside and the centerpiece I made completes the look, The centerpiece is a green square with a party hat, party blowers, painted strafoam balls, tissue paper stuffed around the sides. All ready for his dinner party!

And if you think that was all I decorated ..... nope think again. I decorated my mantle for him as well. I started that project off with a mesh garland , intertwined with royal blue glittered ribbon. I added party hats, blowers ,curly ribbon, birthday plates. On top of the mantle I added presents and party bags stuff with tissue paper. Added a vinyl blue Happy Birthday decal for an extra fun touch! Easy and fun decor to set up and take down.
