Irish Shenanigans

St Patrick' Day is in full effect here. My mantle is set. The picture is one I used before, Castle Blarney, in Ireland. A floral arrangement with clovers, orange flowers, bells of Ireland, and tulips convey the colors of Ireland's flag. A cute little leprechaun stands tall on the shelf, holding a pot of gold. A few other things mixed in to complete the mantle.

Dining  room has an Irish Tree, and the table is set with clover dishes and a pot of gold centerpiece. Leprechauns on clover plates, gold chargers, square clover bowls, sit on  a plaid table cloth, next to green clovers.  Draped across middle is a copper orange  tablecloth which centerpiece sits on.

Valentines in Paris 2015

This years theme is Valentines in Paris. I started out designing my Valentine's tree , just for something different. I used a black Christmas tree as a base.  Adding big silver hearts, harlequin ornaments , red and black and silver polka dots ones as well. Then using 2 cute elf's dressed in Harlequin outfits , silver looping garland , red hearts for more fun.  So here is what it looks like:

Close up of the elf's.

Moving on to my table I went fabulous with this design.
Using the Eiffel Tower, and a big red glittered heart , black roses in a crystal tower bowl.

Now onto the table itself. Red heart tablecloth, red dinner plates, cute heart bowls,
Paris salad plates,on a silver square charger. Silver flat wear, black champagne flutes.
Crystal goblets, red and black and white polka dots napkins with a silver ring
complete this look.  Can we say Ohh La La...???

Now the crème  de la Crème !! My mantle starts with the lovely couple kissing in Paris.
Red hearts, boxwood garlands, red velvet ribbon, large cream colored flowers. The big red rose sits prettily on the end, along with hanging red heart ornament's makes this look fabulous!!

Until next time:
