Hello All! I am sorry I am late posting this, but it's my birthday and was out enjoying lunch and shopping. I decided to decorate for my birthday in grand purple style this year. The mantle is done in shades from dark to light purple hues with lots of glitter! Of course a girl needs sparkle and this isn't short on that! So starting with some lavender mesh and flex tubing as a base , I entwined homemade party hats with fur in two colors, birthday medallions with cute sayings, candles and curling ribbon through out. My age in BIG numbers, ( no I am not ashamed of it), three pretty presents, and a vase full of tri colored purple lollipop's. A banner proclaiming Happy Birthday, over the top of the mantle in shades of glitter, for some pizazz ! Two criss cross lolly pops put just under the mantle for a cute finish.

For the table scape a lavender tablecloth and a purple glittered swirl overlay, two glittered chargers, my antique glass purple dinner plates, Ralph Lauren white salad plates, the matching antique desert plates , and a purple bowl. Matching antique glassware, silver flatware , and purple and white lace napkins, with a little bling on the napkin rings! The centerpiece is a group of gerber daisies, iris's and hydrangeas, in a dark purple vase with a Happy Birthday tiara.  I hope looking at this display makes you smile because it does me everytime I walk by it. I will be back with my tribute to memorial day .

Until then,

Mother's Day Mantle & Tablescape

Hello all, hope you all are all ready for Mother's Day. I think I am! I am gonna share my table scape that Hubbs & I will share dinner tomorrow. In keeping with my LV theme, I started with a chocolate brown table cloth and a gold satin runner. Then added hot pink glitter ribbon for a stripe down the center to give it some pop. For dinnerware I chose hot pink chargers,  chocolate glittered edge plates, then added  leopard salad plates. Gold flatware, chocolate brown napkins with a hot pink glittered ribbon for an accent stripe. Drink ware are  hot pink champagne flutes and  crystal water goblets. The centerpiece is three boxes covered in hot pink shiny wrapping paper, with a gold ribbon added around the edge of the bottom. On the top box I arranged pink daises with glittered centers, black feathers and crystals, with a leopard bow that cascades down the sides.

Closer of the plates before I changed to pink glasses:

Now onto my LV mantle. I started with a mirror , placing  handbags and computer bag on each side , tieing one of two scarfs on the Everfill bag, the other draped under the glittered MOM sign in the center. I made a giant leopard high heel, and  hot pink Eiffel Tower to place on each side of the mirror. A large chocolate brown glittered LV placed onto the mirror and random glittered hot pink daises to complete the look.

                                                         Closer of the Mom sign:

This Mother's Day was all about my favorite things. I hope you all get a lot of your favorite things as gifts and have a wonderful time with your families and loved ones. Wishing each of you a Happy Mother's Day.
I will be back Monday to share birthday decor with you, as I celebrate my own birthday !

                                                             Until then
                                                                              Enjoy!
